Steve Melvin is an irrigated cropping systems extension educator for the University of Nebraska. His work focuses on teaching farmers and others involved in crop production how to conserve irrigation water, effectively manage their irrigation and how water stress at different growth stages affects yield. He has specifically focused on irrigated cropping systems for the past 15 years.
