Aaron Nygren serves as the Nebraska cropping systems extension and irrigation educator in Schuyler, Nebraska. He provides local agronomic support for Colfax, Cuming and Stanton counties. Growing up on a family farm near Ashland, he earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in agronomy from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. After completing his master’s, he started his current position in Colfax County in 2005.
